OUR FIRST APPOINMENT

So we went to our babies first doctors appointment on march 17. Here was our experience......

It was scheduled for 2 in the afternoon but then the doctors and midwife had to hurry to a c-section so we had to wait til 3 so we went out and sat in the car for an hour then headed back in and gave the recepionist our insurance card and at this time found out that the company we got insurace through wasn't really an insurance company they are just a discount on your medical bills so now we have to pay for the whole pregnancy then we will get a check after the baby is born the for the amount that they discounted us for.... so finding out all this of course made me upset and I started to tear up cause we didn't have any money with us ( we thought we had insurance and didn't need it) and the doctor was expecting a payment for the serivces, we luckily grandma showed up just in time and paid for the visit for us and then we got to move on to the good stuff.....

We went in to the office and the doctor came in and did all the stuff she needed to do to me then we got to do the ultra sound. The doctor said that we had to do a vaginal one other wise it would be to much stress on the baby so we did and got to see the babies heart beat, it was so cool, it was beating so hard and fast it was making the tiny baby move all over. The doctor said the baby is the size of a sour patch kid and that we are 8 weeks along and due around november 2.

It was the coolest thing ever to see that little baby inside of me. I cant wait for it to start growing so we can watch it better and feel it.

well I tried to label the ultrasound for you to see but it didnt work to well so the little patch on the left is the baby, the line in the middle is the cord, and the patch at the top is the yolk sack where its getting its blood from.
